PCC STREETCAR No. 1016:

PCC 1016 on L Taraval at Market and First Sts. in July 1969. It is followed by PCC 1161. Scan comes from a slide in my collection and was added 01/31/12.

PCC 1016 on J Church at the 30th Street end in August 1979. Slide by Jack Garcia from my collection added 03/10/12.

Western Railway Museum acquired PCC 1016 and began restoration. Here is a view in the shop on April 19, 2009. The project has since been finished.

PCC STREETCAR No. 1018:

PCC 1018 on K Ingleside outbound at Market and Seventh Sts. on August 9, 1974. Scan comes from a slide in my collection and was added 04/16/12.

PCC STREETCAR No. 1019:

PCC 1019 on the N Judah inbound on Market Street passes the Fox Warfield theatre. Here are the original picture and an enhancement to show the detail of the streetcar and the marquee, which announces the current feature "Che!" starring Omar Sharif as the late revolutionary. Behind 1019 is Marmon trolley coach 710, and in the distance up Market are cranes indicating construction of the Civic Center BART/Muni station. Images from a slide in my collection dated July 1969. PCC STREETCAR No. 1027:

PCC 1027 on the J Church outbound at Market and Third/Kearny Sts. in a slide dated August 9, 1967. Advertising cards on the streetcar include the Wax Museum at Fishermans Wharf and Alpo dog food (100% Meat). On the corner of Third is an orange sign for the Owl Drug Co. On the right is Land Bros. sporting goods. One photo added 02/21/12.

PCC STREETCAR No. 1033:

PCC 1033 in wings simplified livery on N Judah inbound at Market and Eighth/Hyde/Grove Sts. on August 24, 1980. Slide by Ellwood C. McEllroy in my collection. One photo added 01/30/12.

PCC STREETCAR No. 1034:

PCC 1034 on West Portal Avenue on April 20, 1967. The car is on a morning pullout from Geneva to the J Church line via the 11th St. turnback. Image from slide in my collection. One photo added 07/21/11.
