"Big Ten" PCC 1008, which became a work car in the late 1970s, was sent to Brookville Equipment Co. in 2011 for restoration and returned in 2012.

PCC 1008 enters the west portal of the Sunset Tunnel on October 4, 1976. The roof sports a pantograph for testing overhead not
accessible by trolley pole. Evidence of single ending from the 1950s is visible: one side has doors sealed, the wings livery is only
on one end, and the leading end shows white lights (although the curbside light is replaced with a panel). The car appears to be in service,
