Built 1900 by W.A. Holman Co. for United Railroads as no. 673. Converted in 1907 to a work car, rebuilt a number of times over the years to its present appearance. When the Muni Metro system was constructed in the 1970s, 0304 was modified with pantographs for subway operation. The car is not currently in use by Muni.
